For accounts created from this version’s effective time: expands warranty and third-party indemnity provisions, replaces the CAD $0 cap with the greater of CAD $50 or payments for the service in the preceding twelve months, and specifies Toronto courts, subject to mandatory rights. Earlier accounts retain their applicable Terms.
Terms and Conditions
RippleEnd is operated by 11786229 Canada Inc. Our operating location is Toronto, Canada. Contact support@rippleend.com for support, privacy assistance or a concern about the service.
Scope of this version
These Terms apply to accounts created on or after the effective time shown on this document’s details page. Accounts created before that time remain subject to their earlier applicable Terms. This version does not record or imply agreement by an existing account.
Who may use RippleEnd
You must be at least 18 and the age of majority where you live if that age is higher. The service is intended for eligible adults worldwide. You are responsible for complying with rules that apply to your activity and for having authority to submit information about another person. Follow the Acceptable Use rules.
Your account
Email/password and email-code sign-in are supported. Both methods can belong to the same account. A code-only user does not need to create a password. Keep your credentials, mailbox and verification codes secure. Confirmation and security checks do not verify a person's identity, authority, medical eligibility or the truth of a request. Do not share your account, impersonate another person, evade restrictions or try to access another person's private information.
Publishing and private sharing
Review the public title and description before publishing. They can be seen by anyone with the link and may appear in copied messages and third-party link previews. Selecting a link-only message does not control the preview generated by its destination.
Optional built-in and custom private fields are separate from public text. Choose which fields each person may access. A public link does not grant private access. Permission to view information is not permission to republish it or use it for another purpose. Do not submit information you lack authority to share, and minimize information about other people.
An available-until date includes that day in the time zone saved with the request. The stored deadline is final after publication and cannot be extended. Completion, withdrawal, expiry, restriction or content deletion ends further access under the product's rules. Individual private-detail permissions can end sooner. The stable public link can remain as a status or unavailable notice.
Ending access prevents further access through RippleEnd. It cannot erase information someone has already copied, downloaded, photographed, screenshotted or shared elsewhere.
Your content and our limited permission
You retain ownership of your content. You give 11786229 Canada Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, host, reproduce, format and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate RippleEnd, provide the publication or private sharing you choose, deliver previews, provide support, investigate abuse and maintain the recovery copies described in the Privacy Notice. We may use our service providers for those purposes. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your content for unrelated purposes. The permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for necessary retained records and backups described in the Privacy Notice. Third-party material remains subject to its owner's rights. The website's copyright notice does not claim ownership of user content or third-party assets.
Service limits and safety
RippleEnd is a request and information-sharing service. We do not verify identities, recipients, account numbers, relationships, listings, donations, medical suitability or outcomes, and do not process payments or provide emergency assistance. Use appropriate emergency, medical or law-enforcement channels when needed. These limits do not affect our legal responsibilities or your statutory rights. We do not guarantee security, uninterrupted availability, a response or a successful result.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes liability for death or personal injury where applicable law prohibits its exclusion or limitation. Mandatory consumer protections, non-excludable statutory warranties, privacy rights and statutory remedies remain available. If a mandatory rule conflicts with these Terms, that rule prevails.
Disclaimer of Warranties
RIPPLEEND IS PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 11786229 CANADA INC. EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR COLLATERAL, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that information obtained through the service, including medical, donation or missing-person notices, is accurate, reliable or safe. This disclaimer is subject to the mandatory rights stated above.
Limitation of Liability
SUBJECT TO THE MANDATORY RIGHTS STATED ABOVE, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 11786229 CANADA INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, FUNDS, USE, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE RIPPLEEND, THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT OR CONTENT, OR REAL-WORLD INTERACTIONS INITIATED THROUGH THE SERVICE. THESE EXCLUSIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THEM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $50.00) AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS CAP DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED OR TO THE EXCEPTIONS STATED UNDER MANDATORY RIGHTS. The exclusions and cap apply whether a claim arises in contract, tort or otherwise, and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless 11786229 Canada Inc. and its operators, including its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents, against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable legal expenses arising from or connected with content you submit, your use or misuse of RippleEnd, your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use policy, or your violation of another person's rights, including copyright, property and privacy rights. This obligation does not cover losses caused by our negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or breach of these Terms, or the lawful exercise of your rights against us.
We will give you prompt notice of a claim and reasonable information needed for its defence. A delay in notice reduces your obligation only to the extent it materially prejudices the defence. We may participate through our own counsel at our expense. You must not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by us or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent. We must not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by you or imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your written consent. Consent must not be unreasonably withheld.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere, legal proceedings relating to these Terms or RippleEnd must be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections that apply where you live.
TO THE EXTENT LAWFULLY PERMITTED, CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. This restriction does not waive a non-waivable right to bring or join such a proceeding. In particular, where Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 applies, its statutory rights to bring or join class proceedings are preserved. Nothing in these Terms prevents a complaint to a regulator or another remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted. No mandatory arbitration requirement is imposed.
Restrictions and reconsideration
We may restrict accounts or requests to address misuse, safety concerns and breaches of these rules. Reports alone do not establish wrongdoing. Where the process permits, a private decision notice explains the reason and available review route. During sole-operator operation, the same operator may reconsider their decision; this is owner-led reconsideration, not an independent appeal. One request with relevant new information is accepted per decision through the notice. An affected staff member cannot decide their own case. Existing cases assigned to an independent process retain their separate reviewer requirement. No second reviewer or response time is promised. Applicable external complaint or redress rights remain available.
Leaving the service and changes
You can close requests, delete request content, export supported own records and request account deletion through the available account tools. Account deletion is a separate process and linked cases can require review. A review-pending request is not completed deletion. Contact support for assistance. Declining required policies leaves Help, policy information and the supported privacy and closure procedures available.
Published policies have version identifiers, effective dates and permanent archive links. Material changes are described and presented for the appropriate notice, agreement or acknowledgement. Optional new data uses will need a separate choice where required. Registration or agreement does not authorize a charge. Any future paid feature requires a separate explicit purchase showing its price and applicable renewal and cancellation terms.
